I tend to believe God doesn’t work within our linear timeframes. At times I shake my head at my “accumulation of stuff” season of my life, but it’s all part of the process. There’s so much purpose within the pain that we get to experience as long as we embrace that process.

I went from wiggling a toe to walking over the next year with partial paralysis on my right side much like a stroke. Manny is right. I took me a long time to realize what he reiterated above about being relevant and giving to receive.

I spent most of my life in the rat race of accumulating stuff that means nothing in the realm of life. It wasn’t until 30 years later after my son was diagnosed with a rare cancer that I figured it out. It only took Manny a short period of time. I spent a long time thinking I need all this meaningless stuff when really to give will make your dreams come true faster than a 9-5 salaried position.
